Melissa and Derron were married yesterday! I met this star of a couple over a year ago when they hired me to document their wedding day. I remember chatting over coffee about how they met and what their plans were for their Windsor wedding, although they lived in the city of Toronto. Their smiles were contagious, they were perfect together and I couldn't have been happier to be asked to photograph their wedding for them! 
When I walked into Melissa's parent's home yesterday, tears filled my eyes at the very first look of her. This gleaming bride was full of excitement and couldn't wait to see her Groom at the alter! Wearing a stunning birdcage over her face, I knew her final detail choices were going to take Derron's breath away. I was right.
Melissa and Derron chose The Art Gallery of Windsor to have their ceremony at and Ambassador Golf Club to hold their reception. Beautiful Day...Beautiful Ceremony...Beautiful Couple...Beautiful Family & Friends.
For all the romantics out there (myself included), this image below was taken when Derron asked Melissa to walk out into the middle of the dance floor. The two of them were in the midst of saying their speech and not knowing what to expect, Melissa stood there facing him as he told her and the entire room how much he loved her. Amazing.

So much fun and so much laughter filled the room all night long. From speeches to dancing to the fun little games they played, it was a night to remember for many. Thank you Melissa and Derron, the two of you are very special. I look forward to visiting you in the near future ;)
