"I can't wait to see him", she said to me sitting anxiously in the limo. She wouldn't stop playing with her hands and fiddling with her engagement ring, no doubt each time touching it thinking of him. It was just her and I in the car. We were on our way to Flat Rock Cellars where Matt was waiting to meet his bride - alone- seeing her for the first time before anyone else on their wedding day.

Carm and Matt chose to meet each other before the walk down the isle, ensuring they were able to spend some intimate time together before the day's overwhelming celebration took place. This was the place that they chose to meet, and I'll never forget it for as long as I live. We pulled into the stone driveway and my heart  stopped as I looked out the limo's window to see Matt standing there alone. His heart probably beating so fast that it ached. I looked at Carm and her eyes were full. Full of love. Full of tears. I turned to take a last look at Matt before I opened the door. As he stood there facing the vineyards and waiting ever so patiently for that tap on his shoulder I whispered quietly, 'she's on her way'......
