And there I was in the little town of Heildelberg, experiencing true German food and appreciating some of the simpler ways of life. There is one street light in the town and the people are so friendly. Even my cleaning lady struck up a twenty minute conversation with me. On the way to the town we passed an organic ice cream shop, many orchards and fruit stands along with some of the most beautiful, peaceful horizons that were untouched. Just land, trees, tall grass and the smell of fresh air. Such a peaceful weekend.
