A sixpence in her shoe. It's a European wedding tradition that is said to bring the bride good luck and fortune. Rachel and Michael are moving to England and my mind thinks this tradition has something more to do with their travels than their love for one another. This couple doesn't need good luck, they have already been blessed with it by meeting each other and marrying. A sixpence in her shoe. It's a European wedding tradition that is said to bring the bride good luck and fortune. Rachel and Michael are moving to England and my mind thinks this tradition has something more to do with their travels than their love for one another.
